Probably have some tweaks I need to look at for my team. Helps that the Mets have decided to give Wilmer Flores a long look at SS and Panik is the everyday guy at 2B for SF giving me a legit MIF for the first time really all year.

AL playoff race update:
(one week - 12 games remaining)
Tampa Bay = has clinched AL East. Seattle = has clinched AL West.
TBD:
AL Central 1 Detroit Tigers 148-90-26 - 2 Kansas City Royals 141-105-18 (11gb)
AL Wild Card Boston Red Sox 146-100-18 - Kansas City Royals 141-105-18 (5gb)
Congrats to the Rays on winning the AL East this past week. (Mariners clinched last week).
Detroit almost clinched the Central, but not quite. Tigers hold an 11 game lead over the Royals with 12 to play.
The AL wild card race (also involving the Royals) is much closer as Boston holds a 5 game lead over KC.
The key matchups this week to determine the final 2 AL playoff spots are KC/Min and Det/Bos.

NL playoff race update:
(one week - 12 games remaining)
St. Louis = has clinched NL Central
TBD:
NL East 1 Philadelphia Phillies 156-95-13 - 2 Miami Marlins 147-96-21 (5gb)
NL West 1 Colorado Rockies 158-88-18 - 2 Arizona Diamondbacks 153-90-21 (3.5gb)
NL Wild Card Arizona Diamondbacks 153-90-21 - Philadelphia Phillies 156-95-13 (1gb) Miami Marlins 147-96-21 (6gb)
Congrats to the Cardinals for clinching the NL Central. *Congrats also to the Rockies for clinching a playoff spot.
The key matchups in the NL this week are Mia/Phi and Col/Arz. Couldn't have worked out any better.
*Playoff scenarios: 1) If the D'backs do beat the Rockies and win the NL West, the Rockies become the wild card. While its possible that the Phillies or Marlins (4.5 and 9.5 games behind the Rockies) to finish with a better record, if either team does so, they'll win the NL East and eliminate the other.
2) If the Rockies do win the NL West and the D'backs finish 2nd there, it is mathematically possible for both the Marlins and Phillies to both make the playoffs and eliminate the D'backs.
Good luck to the Phillies, Marlins and D'backs. 3 teams and only 2 more playoff spots open.
