Approved
Comparing Martin to previously signed outfielders and their 2 years prior to resigning. Definitely below Jones and Gordon. Maybe even Pagan. Pagan was discounted as he had an injury in his "walk" year here. Definitely can't see any more than this for Martin at this time.
Angel Pagan - $5,500,000 (2014NTC)(2018) Alex Gordon - $7,250,000 (2017) Adam Jones - $8,000,000 (2017) after 12
AVG R HR RBI SB OPS Martin .260 66 8 49 36 .698 .274 68 7 40 31 .689
Pagan .288 95 8 56 29 .778 .282 44 5 30 9 .749 (71 games - injured)
Gordon .303 101 23 87 17 .879 .294 93 14 72 10 .822
Jones .280 68 25 83 12 .785 .287 103 32 82 16 .839

I agree, with the Phillies, this is fine for Martin. To be honest unless the Braves really think he's going to explode over the next couple of years I can't see even using a resign on him.
