Issues To Address
1. Schedule (Reg Season + Post-Season) * 9 Week Max Schedule (Reg Season + Playoffs) --- Weird H2H Set-Up --- Roto for 2020 --- Other Ideas (Multiple Match-ups per week)
2. How to handle contracts * With less than half a season (60 games) what to do with contracts.
3. How to handle 2021 Draft Order * Is 60 games enough for a 2021 Draft Order? If not what would be alternatives to coming up with draft order for 2021?
4. Who wins title if things go badly (no playoffs) * #1 Overall Team * No Title
5. Trading * Resumes One Week Before Opening Day (July 15) * Trade Deadline Aug 31st

Question
With a unique 2020 if we had to do roto instead of H2H would there be a way to still have a playoff set-up like we would have in H2H set-up?
Answer
Hi, it's not possible to do roto with playoffs. A coupe of suggestions would be:
1. Do a roto regular season, then copy the league at playoff time, changing the copied league to H2H for playoffs.
2. Keep it as H2H, and add more matchups per period. You could have as many as you want, including playing against every team each period, creating a closer feel to roto.
Thanks, Brandon The Fantrax Team

1. As much as I HATE roto it might be the most easy.
We could do H2H Vs our division that would cover most of the 6 week reg season then go into 3 week playoffs.
We could try to do some multiple match-ups per week as well.
2. If you’re going to leave contracts in place, I think it’s better to just extend everyone by a year (2021 expiration's become 2022, arb 2022 guys become arb 2023 guys). For dudes specifically with 2020 contracts, I’d either be for universally making them 2021 (simplest). Or for allowing GMs to decide. So everyone who is not 2020 would automatically get pushed but specifically the 2020 guys the GM would announce whether they prefer to push them to 2021 or let them expire (so awful contracts could expire).
3. This one is tough. Its almost either let the 60 games determine it (if we even make it 60) or something like a full league lottery
4. In 2020 with 60 games (or less) I would lean to No Title.
5. I wouldn't want any trading for a bit so I would lean towards allowing it resume July 15 with a Aug 31st trade deadline.

1 - 60 games is ugly, no matter how you paint it. H2H Vs our division that would cover most of the 6 week reg season then go into 3 week playoffs - sounds good. 2 - Agree - I think it’s better to just extend everyone by a year , but - allow GM's the right to drop expiring bad contracts. 3 - Could we carry-over last year's draft order? 4 - No playoffs = No title. 5 - July 15 with a Aug 31st trade deadline.

We will probably leave this open for a week or so then vote on each part if voting is needed to get final amendments.

1 - 60 games is tough , no clear cut way to go . agree with H2H Vs our division that would cover most of the 6 week reg season then go into 3 week playoffs 2 - Extend everyone by a year , but - allow GM's the right to drop expiring bad contracts. 3 - Agree carry-over last year's draft order 4 - No playoffs = No title. 5 - July 15 with a Aug 31st trade deadline.

1) Weird H2H 2) If the season gets canceled or other craziness doesn't finish, then we should push contracts back a year. If we have a season that goes through the world series, then contracts just stay as they are. 3) If we get through the end of this season finishing with our World Series, then we've had a season and can base the draft order on it. If we don't make it to WS then we should cancel season and draft order should be determined differently maybe with the bottom team in each division for picks 1-6, second worst for picks 7-12, etc. 4) It's just a title, no $ or anything - give it out. Top team. 5) Trading should be wide open, no deadline this year.

1. Schedule multiple matches 2. Contracts stand - I realize it will be a weird season but some teams are set up and moves were made to get rid of contracts this year - so If season starts then it counts - if season doesn’t start then I would say push them back a year - 3. If season starts then go by the record here - no matter how many games are played - 4. Team with best record 5. Trading wide open, no deadline

I think we should mirror as close to possible MLB
60 games is ugly, no matter how you paint it. H2H Vs our division that would cover most of the 6 week reg season then go into 3 week playoffs - sounds good. AGREE
2. How to handle contracts * With less than half a season (60 games) what to do with contracts.
2 - Agree - I think it’s better to just extend everyone by a year , but - allow GM's the right to drop expiring bad contracts. AGREE
3. How to handle 2021 Draft Order * Is 60 games enough for a 2021 Draft Order? If not what would be alternatives to coming up with draft order for 2021? YES. if season not played out, then revert to last year order. but also am ok if its decided to just do a random for each round of playoffs
4. Who wins title if things go badly (no playoffs) * #1 Overall Team * No Title
No WS Title
5. Trading * Resumes One Week Before Opening Day (July 15) * Trade Deadline Aug 31st
Aug 31st fine with me for deadline

1. Multiple match-ups per week.
2. Do not alter years on contracts.
3. Leave as is (based on my answer to #1)
4. #1 overall team is Champ. (I mean, if we don’t have a title, why are we doing any of this anyways? It’s certainly not the money.)
5. I like the proposed trading parameters.

1. Schedule - I think we go AL v AL and NL v NL for the regular season in the multiple matchup format. The take the top 4 from each league for the playoffs.
2. How to handle contracts - Push all contracts one year. No GM opt out. 3. How to handle 2021 Draft - How about combining 2020 and 2021 records?
4. Who wins title if things go badly (no playoffs) - No title 5. Trading - Don’t care
