Thanks, Phillies. His player page was confusing. Breaking news on this guy, I think signed to the 40 man - Raciel Iglesias P CIN Read this at Rotoworld: "Reds signed RHP Raisel Iglesias to a seven-year, $27 million contract. He also gets a $5 million signing bonus. It's a major league deal, but Iglesias won't report to the major league club this year. He's living in Mexico right now and the Reds are hoping he'll be able to pitch in the Arizona Fall League. Iglesias was a reliever in Cuba, but the Reds think the 24-year-old can start. The right-hander held a 1.68 ERA with 50 strikeouts across 53 2/3 innings in 2013 in Serie Nacional." www.rotoworld.com/player/mlb/7599/raisel-iglesiasAccording to that, he did indeed sign a major league contract. Our "Cuban" rules here say this: "In regards to foreign players, the only ones who will be Free Agents are those who sign a MAJOR LEAGUE CONTRACT. Meaning this will include those from Japan, Cuba, DR, Venezuela, Korea or any other country if they agree to a major league contract. If they sign a MINOR LEAGUE CONTRACT they will be the property of the team that signed them in real life just as any undrafted FYPD goes to the team that they signed with in real life." I'll wait for the Marlins or someone to verify. This is the first mid-season signing like that I've seen so I'm not certain if Iglesias goes directly to free agency now or in our next offseason free agency period. Unique case I would vote we hold off on a guy like him until next year he isn't your typical uncovered free agent. We can discuss in mod forum.

Eveland is a free agent. He was originally Oakland property here with a contract of Dana Eveland $395,000 (2011). Original contract year was correct as he surpassed 50 innings pitched in 2006. No results of Eveland ever being owned since his 2011 contract expired.

Marte is a free agent here. The only contract he ever had here was "Andy Marte (Cle - 3B) $391,000 (2011)". Indians used an "amnesty" cut on him in 2008, so he's been a free agent ever since.

Is the new Red Sawx OF a FA? How about you get your team page in order and not worry about things like this b/c your team page is a mess your one of the worst GMs at not having a matching roster here and on fantrax which is about to cost you any promotions or waiver claims until it does as you have like 30 guys listed here but only 22 on fantrax GET IT TOGETHER you need to get your roster to the correct number (25 or less) using the proper protocols. THX And no he will not be a free agent this year. Its unfair to make a guy like him a free agent this year so late in the year.

Rivera is a free agent here. He was originally Dodgers property in this league: November 29, 2007: Signed as a Free Agent with the Los Angeles Dodgers. November 3, 2008: Granted Free Agency. Roster Freeze Date: November 15th, 2008 November 20, 2008: Signed as a Free Agent with the New York Mets. He surpassed the 130 at bats mark in 2006 thus putting his original contract year at 2011. He's been unowned ever since.

burke badenhop should be a 2014 contract and a free agent (not 2015 as listed on nats roster), unless im missing something. You are correct on the contract year "should" have been 2014. We had noticed that about a month ago. Once we started checking on it, we saw that Badenhop's contract had been listed originally here as 2015. This dated back to 2010 as our results came from our old board. We also saw that Badenhop had been involved in a trade using the original contract here. With all of that information, it was decided to leave the Badenhop contract as it originally was.

Yangervis Solarte is Twins property.
Surpassed 130 at bats in 2014. Contract year would be 2019.
Real-life transactions are:
June 16, 2005: Signed by the Minnesota Twins as an amateur free agent. Roster Freeze Date: November 15th, 2008 November 2, 2011: Granted Free Agency. November 30, 2011: Signed as a Free Agent with the Texas Rangers. November 3, 2012: Granted Free Agency. December 12, 2012: Signed as a Free Agent with the Texas Rangers. November 5, 2013: Granted Free Agency. January 14, 2014: Signed as a Free Agent with the New York Yankees. July 22, 2014: Traded by the New York Yankees with Rafael De Paula (minors) to the San Diego Padres for Chase Headley and cash.
I inserted our roster freeze date here to show who owned him at that time.
