All players check out.
Kendrick was a 2013 free agent signing by the Astros. Beltre was a 2013 free agent signing by the Cubs. Underwood was taken by the Astros in the 2012 FYPD with pick #18 of Round 3.
Just waiting for Astros to confirm trade.

Approved 2-0, solid trade, basically the Cubs get Underwood for giving up the best player in the deal

I thought Cubs was trying to SHED salary and instead added another $2 Mil til 2016. Beltre is a better player than Kendrick IMO.
Underwood is the Cubs #20 prospect by MLB.com, NR by Sickels in Top 25 or so.
2012 5 GM 5 GS 0-1 5.19 1.50 7 K 6 BB 2013 14 GM 11 GS 3-4 4.97 1.63 36 K 27 BB 2014 11 GM 10 GS 1-2 2.96 1.46 29 K 20 BB
Underwood is still only 19 so plenty of room to grow.
I probably wouldn't make this deal unless I was shedding salary but its not veto-able.
Approval #3
