Can't find a comparable catcher in the resigns so I will just use Russell Martin's previous contract. C Russell Martin $7,000,000(2015)
Russell has been a pretty steady performer over the years, he's had ups and downs but earned a decent deal even though he's entering the decline of his mid-30s. All catchers consistently lose the battle versus Father Time sooner than other position players but we'll hope Russell doesn't lose the battle over the life of this deal.
I'll just tack an extra three years on to the end of his previous contract and call it an offseason.
Angels offer:
C Russell Martin $7,000,000(2016 NTC)(2018)

I was shocked to see how well Martin has performed for the last 5 years. Not sure the knees can keep it up at 35 but this is a fair offer.
