Jason Heyward $7,500,000 (2016 NTC)(2019)
Lorenzo Cain's recent resign is what I will draw comparison to. Heyward is another player who is not a leader in any category but is solid all around. The reason why I discounted his contract slightly from Cain's is due to the fact that Cain has been slightly more productive offensively. Average and OBP are similar, but if you ask me Cain definitely has the power edge.
Lorenzon Cain oWAR in 2015 = 5.3 Jason Heyward oWAR in 2015 = 3.8

Had to study this one a bit.
I took last year's numbers into consideration. I only used the 6 scoring categories we use here which are: R HR RBI SB AVG OPS. The bottom numbers are their rankings when using all OF eligible players here. Cain surpassed Heyward in every one. Just for curiosities sake I looked up the numbers of Gerardo Parra last year and listed them. Surprisingly, Heyward's production could have almost been replaced by Parra. This is why I'm good with keeping Heyward under Cain at this point.
cain 29yo 551ab 101 16 72 28 . 307 . 838 6th 38th 27th 6th 5th 13th
heyward 26yo 547ab 79 13 60 23 . 293 .797 28th 58th 38th 15th 14th 18th
gerardo parra 28yo 547ab 83 14 51 14 .291 .780 25th 52nd 54th 37th 18th 27th

I can't find the contract details you are offering and you do not have a 2016 roster with this year's salaries posted, please make your updates and I will revisit your resigns.
