Previous Contract $0.3 (2017)
Reds offer Lance Lynn a new contract of 3 years at $7M (2020)
31 year old pitcher still on FA market and with significant injury history (missing all 2016). Limited strikeout potential with projected So9 of 7.9 and projected innings of 153. Verlander re-signed at $9.6M last year and Lynn has no where near the upside.

Bailey, Leake and Estrada all got 4 years @ $8mil. Lynn's in this tier of pitcher based on talent. Injuries are difficult to judge and Lynn turned down the Cards offer for more dough after a solid 2017. I think he's got to get the same contract as the guys above.

Reds, lets wait for a third opinion and if there is agreement that this is too low please resubmit your second offer as a separate thread. Thank you
