Old Contract - $300,000 (2017) New Contract - $11,500,000 (2020)
An injury last year knocked Donaldson down to the 20th 3B last year, but it wasn't for lack of production. He still hit 33 home runs while hitting for a respectable average. There's no reason to think that he won't return to a top 5 3B top 20 Hitter this year. I went off Goldschmidt's Contract of 12 million last year and Longoria's 8 M. I feel he's closer to Goldie then Longoria, but he's not quite as valuable as Goldie long term as well as being 3 years older. Like Murphy I think he can contribute in my window even with the age concerns.

Same logic as the Cano deal.

Approve #2, he will earn his money for the next 3 years as last year was not the norm.
