Twins offer Dozier:
First offer: 3 years @ $9,500,000 (2020)
Old contract: $300,000 (2017)
Reasoning:
The guy is a career .251 hitter who just happen to hit for his highest average last season at .271. His HR totals dropped last year and he strikes out a ton. He is in the last year of his contract and has expressed a desire to re-sign with the Twins, but the Twins have yet to even approach him about an extension. That is a red flag to me which is why I am only willing to offer a 3 year deal on this 30 year old who will be 31 at the start of the season.
Gordon got 8M last year and hit .308 with 60SB so I am offering more than Gordon because of his potential in HRs and RBIs, but Gordon beat him in Avg, Runs, and SBs
