Denied (1-1)
I would be happy seeing only 14.5 - 15M per year. My concern with Cano is his switch from Yankee Stadium to Seattle. Cano has went through a home stadium switch once before. At the previous Yankee Stadium between 2005-2008, his OPS numbers were .778, .890, .841, .715. At the new Yankee Stadium between 2009-2013, his OPS numbers were .871, .914, .882, .929, .899. HR's totals previous stadium were 14, 15, 19, & 14. They increased to 25, 29, 28, 33 & 27 with home games in the new stadium.
What worries me is that the ballpark factor in Seattle could have the same effect on Cano that it had on Adrian Beltre when he was there.

I was on the fence but I do think this is a little too much while I appreciate the aggressive first offer.
Veto #3 (1-3)
Feel free to post a 2nd Offer.
