Dbacks Send
1B Paul Goldschmidt (ARI - 1B) $12,000,000 (2017 NTC) (2021) (Re-Sign) RP Yoan Lopez (ARZ) N/A (2024)
Braves Send
1B Freddie Freeman $10,000,000(2020) (Re-Sign)
Dbacks Accept.
I'm a Braves fan in real life so I was very interested in getting Freeman onto my roster. He's a bit of an improvement on Goldschmidt as a hitter so the bump there along with the bit of cap savings made it worth a solid holds guy in Yoan Lopez to make this deal.
Thanks to Braves for the trade talks.

Braves Accept
I see them about the same as a player career stats are about equal with Goldy having more power plus steals more bases. I really don't lost at 1B by making this deal and gain a young RP in return in Lopez that had a decent year and should still improve.
Thanks Dbacks

Freddie is in his prime, and Goldy should have a couple more years in the tank. Lopez helps to balance the trade. Also, Atlanta gets their Brave, while the D-backs shed the re-sign. Looks fair to me.

while the D-backs shed the re-sign. Well I don't think he sheds a re-sign tag in fact they are trading re-sign tags. Goldy is 32 while Freeman is 30. Lopez is coming off a very strong year where he posted 21 HLDS but isn't a strong K guy. Approval #2
