Orioles send: CL Stefan Crichton $0 (2025) - not called up yet CL Hunter Harvey $0 (202x) - not called up yet
Nationals send: OF Heston Kjerstad (prospect)
Orioles accept
My rebuilding team didn't have much use for closers and I pick up an OF prospect thats needed. Crichton looked fantastic last year and Harvey has nasty stuff when healthy. Hjerstad was taken #2 overall and I hope he can develop into an everyday OF.
Thank you to the Nats for the easy talks.

Nationals agree
Moving Hjerstad is tough as it really thins my OF prospect pool now to just Nats prosects but having Soto and Robles doesn't hurt. I need to fill out my bullpen and Chrichton and Harvey hopefully do just that.

I'm assuming this is supposed to be Stefan Crichton of the Dbacks? And Heston Kjerstad in the Orioles organization?

Ownership:Crichton was a 23rd round pick by the Orioles in 2013 Harvey was drafted by the Orioles in our 2013 FYPD here Kjerstad was assigned to the Nats in our 2020 FYPDThis one is a little tough for me. For me the #2 pick in a normal draft would never be worth 2 relievers. However the 2020 draft was anything but normal. The talent pool was much shallower than in previous years where almost every pick felt like a shot in the dark. That being said Kjerstad is still only 22 and projects as at least an average everyday player with a 60 power tool. As long as he has enough contact to use his power he could be a monster in fantasy, especially in Camden Yards. Compare this with Crichton who will be 29 on opening day and really has never been that good. Sure he had a 2.42 ERA last year but that came with a 3.42 FIP and a miniscule 0.3 HR/9 compared to a career average 0.8. Those homers will surely come back up and with the amount of walks he gives up I don't see him sticking at closer. Seems more like a 3.5+ ERA bullpen piece. Definitely has value but personally I don't see him as a lights out closer. Harvey is hard to say, he hasn't had enough innings in the Majors and while he was dominant in 6 innings in 2019 he was at best average in 8 innings in 2020. Both very small sample sizes so hard to say where his value truly lies. I think for now I'm going to have to Abstain from this one. I have to think about it more and see what others have to say.

Approve 1
Kjerstad was a reach at 1.2, but still a potentially high caliber OF. Two closers, especially cheap are hard to come by.

Both gms see improvements in their ability to compete in 2021 (Nats) and 2031 (Os)
